2009 Work Session M1/M2

August 20, 2009. On Thursday of the first week, the five spare trucks and six wheelsets were loaded onto a 48-foot, step-deck semi-trailer for shipment to Chama using a heavy-duty fork lift. Here the first truck is lowered into place. This truck did not have the brake beams in place, so it could be picked up by running the tines through the side frames. Photo by Roger Breeding.
